NEW LOCATION Illinois: Knoch Knolls Nature Center

NEW LOCATION! Beach day cancelled. It has come to our attention that Illinois Beach State Park has closed swimming due to dangerously high bacteria levels. It does not sound like fun to go to a beach and not let our kids get in the water, so we have a significant pivot. We are going to spend our morning together at Knoch Knolls Nature Center in Naperville as most of us who have signed up are closer to that area.

We will meet in the parking lot and let the kids lead the way, there is access to wade into the DuPage river, trails in the forest, open fields for running and games, a nature center, and a playground. Tons of opportunities for child led play!

Bring clothes that can get wet. Picnic lunches are encouraged!
