Starved Rock Update
Alrighty friends, with much disappointment I am making the call to postpone our hike to Nov 1. 2 out of the 3 sites I've been watching are calling for scattered thunderstorms during our time at the park. Rain is one thing but safety always comes first and being out in a thunderstorm is beyond my comfort level and I know it would totally freak out my toddler.
We will keep the plan for Nov 1 the same, gather at 2 to hike followed by hot cider then an optional bring your own picnic dinner after.
I am so sorry for this disappointing change in our weekend plans. I was so eager to see all of you! I even re weather proofed my boots in preparation for rain!
