Join the Kids Who Explore mission in getting more kids connected to nature by becoming a lead ambassador. You could host local meetups in your area and connect like-minded outdoor families together. Ambassadors host weekly and monthly meetups across the globe. Look at our events calendar for hiking, biking, climbing, camping, exploring, adventuring, travelling, and backpacking with kids. Do you want to play an active role in building a community that celebrates adventure, nature, and family time? Do you want to host in person events for Kids Who Explore? Become a Lead Ambassador for Kids Who Explore and help us bring families together for outdoor experiences! What is a Lead Ambassador? As a Lead Ambassador, you will be the heart of our community in your state or province, helping to connect families through exciting outdoor events. Your main role is to plan and host one monthly event that encourages families to explore nature in fun, safe, and engaging ways. We ask that all events to be posted in advance to allow families to plan and participate, and give us time to find event sponsors! What we ask of you: What you'll get: Commit to a 1-year term of leading monthly events. Plan and execute one family-friendly event per month in your designated area. These events are to be posted in advance for planning and sponsorship purposes Attend a monthly Lead Ambassador zoom meeting (or watch the recorded meeting if you're unable to join!) Share and promote your event within your local community. Collect a small community fee for each event, which supports the ongoing growth and success of Kids Who Explore.
